Refund policy

Returns

We will gladly exchange or give a store credit within 14 days of purchase with an original receipt, if you are not fully satisfied with your purchase. Items must be in their original state: unwashed, unworn, unaltered, in original packaging, and must have all original tickets attached.

Unfortunately at this time we are UNABLE to accept returns from outside of CANADA. We will not be accepting returns from the United States at this time. Sorry for any inconveniences. 

Items that are exempt from returns are:

-Leggings

-Straws

-Beach Wear/Items

-Gift Credits

All sale items are final.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
- Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your item.
Once approved, then your request will be processed.


Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be exchanged, unfortunately sale items are final sale.

Exchanges (if applicable)
If you need to exchange it for the same item, send us an email at admin@thevillageboutique.com and send your item to: 332 Ridge Road North, Ridgeway ON L0S 1N0, Canada.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, an gift credit number will be emailed to you to use on your next purchase.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and he will be notified about your return.

Shipping
To exchange your product, you should mail your product to: 332 Ridge Road North, Ridgeway ON L0S 1N0, Canada

The purchaser is responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. 

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

DUTIES, TAXES, TARIFFS : 


International orders may be subject to import fees, duties, taxes, & tariffs. The Village Boutique is not responsible for any extra charges that may be applied after shipping. This is the responsibility of the purchaser.
